I still have a time slip from Beeline. I think that it was a 15.30 from back when I started racing in 1979 in my old Cyclone Spoiler.

    HeathYoung,

Would you have any pictures of the engine bay?

    Heath Young,

I just wanted to see how the Boss fit in the chassis. I may have assumed that the car was not a tube chassis car, but my Maverick raced in B/SM back in the day with a 302 block with Boss heads and just wanted to see how the motor sat in the engine bay.

What headers are you running on the engine in the picture?
Looks like a 302 based engine from that angle... Correct?

    ratio411,

The motor is a 408 stroker with a set of High Port TF Roush/Yates heads.
Here is a little better picture of the engine. The towers have been cut but with that it takes about about an hour to replace all the plugs as there is almost no room around #2,#3 and #5,#6 plugs. You can't even see #8 and have to put it in by touch. The headers were made by Dawson down in Southern California specifically for the car, they are equal length and each side is a three piece setup as #4 pipe wraps around the front subframe.
Here are a few pictures to give you and idea of the room for changing plugs.
