    I never knew you could get them either. maybe I could run over to green and they would let me mach them up on my car and take a few pics. 20 min drive for me.

    It's amazing.....Ford obviously tooled these things up....probably made thousands of them.....yet NOBODY has ever seenm a set installed on a Maverick!!

    There was a white 4 dr that was owned by a little ole lady since new here in town. Her car had them, I liked them and thought they were cool as heck. I wish I had gone to her estate sale, the car sold and I havent seen it since, It was still a very nice car.

    I have never seen them mounted there. The only place that I have seen
    guards is attached to the middle of the bumpers.

    Unless you really like it-you are asking for opinions aren't you?-I would
    forget about them. I think it takes away from the crisp design.
    They may look at home on an LDO car with the bumper moulding all the
    way around.

    My 2 dollars worth.

    I had those on my '73 and took them off. I'd post
