ok i finally got exhaust on my 73 so i thought it would be time to do some tuning, threw a timing light on the 1st wire and nothing, so im moving it around trying to get a response and the light blinks once, wiggled it and nothing, so i started wondering what was going on so i thew it on another wire and it started blinking, put it back to the first and nothing

try swaping plug wires on two cylinders. if that doesnt work then try swaping spark plugs between two cylinders. if still doesnt work then try replacing the distributor cap.. that should do it. when you find the problem replace the bad part
