    hello,

does anyone have a pic of the inside of their mav's car? I'm trying to change the compressor and the one that was on my car came with a clutch that had two belts on it. All the compressors Im finding, like a napa, only have a clutch with room for one belt? What do i do with the other belt? what belt goes on the compressor's clutch? If i had a pic of the compressor of another car and how the belts are hooked up, then i'm sure i can figure it out.
    thanks:tiphat:

I looked on the napa web site and found three double groved ac clutches.
#s TEM263261, TEM268202 & TEM274224. They are for a 250 6cyl engine which is what my car has. Are you looking under the right engine and also do you have dealer installed or factory install AC ?

Do you have a picture of your engine? Also post up the VIN it's on the dash top left hand, it's in the way back corner. So you have to look through the windshield to see it. It's also on the door sticker, like when you open the door look down to your right there should be a white sticker. Give us the info on that.

Okay you have a 1976 2dr Maverick, and a "L" code 250 4.1L six cylinder engine. That should help you out a lot when getting parts.

The NAPA site works best if you plug in the year make and model with the correct engine size. We use it all day at work to order parts for our used cars. When I have some down time I look up parts for my 71 and keep a list of the part numbers and prices. Good luck with you parts. You should also try Rock Auto on line for some price comparisons.
