I'm getting ready to install high back buckets in my
Grabber, but after test fitting them today they're going
to be too high off the floor.

There's about 2" of bracket between the actual sliders
and where they mount to the floor. I've been thinking
about taking off the bracket and fabricating a
replacement out of plate that would only be about
    1/4" high.

Then it occured to me that somewhere I had seen a
picture of an LDO seat bracket and that it's already a
flat bar instead of a tall gusseted bracket like I have.

Does anyone know the facts on this? Could I get use
set of LDO brackets and save myself a lot of fabrication?

I wasn't aware that there were any differences in brackets other than those for the inboard passenger side on cars equipped with a cat. I'd be interested to hear if anyone can shed some light on this.

well i did something with the stock LDO brackets.. may be you can compare them to the install pics i did awhile back.

you can kinda tell what they look like in the pictures even though my fabed up adapter is bolted to it.

Okay, this is perfect, you're just the guy to answer my
    questions!

I have attached a cropped photo from your web site
that shows the LDO seat bracket with the flat bar
adapters you've attached to mount the Cobras.

In the picture I have placed two arrows pointing to a
tan seat bracket. Other than the black plate that you've
attached, is that what a stock LDO bucket bracket
    looks like?

Other than the spacers that go under it, it looks like it
sits nearly as flat as you can get to the floor. That's
    what I need to achieve.

I look forward to your answer. :)

Can I see the picture of your tracks? Maybe we could do an even trade. I would rather have my seats higher off the floor ...

They're absolutely perfect for what I'm trying to
    accomplish with my car's seats!

Here's a couple of shots of the type that I have.

I have two pairs that are in nice shape and I look forward
to making a trade with you. I hope they are what you're
looking for. (The one here that's rusty is just to show the
type off of the seat. The ones I would trade you are much
    nicer.) :)

I am not sure if I have a mismatch of tracks or not ... two of my tracks are similar to that ... I put those towards the transmission tunnel. The other two tracks are flat .. I put them near the doors. This setup allows the seats to sit low and level since the mount points near the hump are lower ...

I would like to trade if you want to ...

I have some car shows coming up so if you could ship yours first, I'll swap them and ship mine back to you ... It sounds like you are still finishing your car up ....

THanks .. Here is another pic showing how much head and leg room under the steering wheel you have with my setup ...
