I have a 72 mav w/302 light mods with a new holley 600 cfm carb. Most times i put the car in gear it stalls out even happens when the motor is warm. If i hold the gas down a little it will be fine but annoying. What adjustment am i not doing? Thanks for the help.
mine did that so i adjusted the idle speed screw on the carb an it fixed it right up...hope that helps.
It idle's fine when not in gear. For example the car is cold i start it and put it in gear the car dies. I have started it again let it warm up to 180 temp and put it in gear and most the times it dies. Now weather or not its cold or warm if i keep my foot on the gas a little and it wont die. After a while I no longer have to use both feet at a light.
