I have the car for you! Selling a 73 Maverick about 16,000 miles .Was grandmas car. $1500 obo Brian 414-350-5525.
Check the cowl, floor pans, quarter panels, torque boxes for rust. Those seem to be the most common areas of the rust cancer in these cars just with my short experience on this forum. But since it's a california car it should be pretty solid. That one looks pretty nice, much nicer than mine. As for the engine room if your wallet can handle it you can do a mustand II front supsension swap it deletes the shock towers which seem to be the biggest issue when trying to fit a big engine in these cars (if your interested in this search for mustang II swap there's about 50 threads). If you go back to the pick apart and get the VIN I'm sure someone on here would be able to tell you what year it is
I didn't even see this post lol, but now i do! Yeah Ontario is notorious for saving the classic cars and put them for sale. I hardly ever go there anymore. Back in the day it was awesome. The first time i ever went to a junkyard was that miliken one, and they had a blue 71 grabber. at the time i knew nothing about mavericks(i was just 15). And i passed up on the grabber hood and spoiler Its been almost seven years since then and i've never seen another grabber in a junkyard. I haven't seen a single maverick in almost 2 years... but a few years ago there was a new one every once in a while... they're are a bunch on the street though so that's cool. There's a girl right down the street from me that has a Red 71/72. Then next to my dads house on Orange St. There's like the copy of that car, except it has a transformers decal on the back. There was a Shop on Howard Ave that was restoring one, on third street there's also one. Then the member on here BrianB lives by La sierra i think. On Victoria Ave there's two, a four door comet and a maverick grabber by Gage middle school.
