Last night was our second ever meet that we had in conjunction with the
Cruise on Central event here in Phoenix. Wow...I have never seen so many classic cars and hot rods in one place cruising around and talking shop. What an awesome event! The Maverick guys were few but at least for me I had a great time...I'm pretty sure everyone else did as well.

I failed to take many pictures...so sorry...:slap: but I know others took some pics so maybe they can add them to this thread. Ryan...Tony actually made it with his Maverick so I just had to take a few pics for evidence...actually Tony made me...LOL!! BTW...to Tony...your car is awesome...NICE WORK!!  Check out his carbon fiber hood and impeccable twin turbo small block!

I can't believe I let work and responsibility get in my way of a Maverick Meet  I'm glad Tony's car finally saw daylight. But did it run?

Next time we will have a better turn out. I just need to fix my fuel issue, Joe needs to finish his disc brake setup, other Joe (nito?) needs a dash cluster (i have it) and other stuff, Don needs to build 2 cars (or atleast put trans in them), Adam needs , Roger needs 5 years and $15k to build his car, and the rest just need to participate and know what we are doing. You all have until October, Now get to work.

I took that photo. I was hiding behind the bush on central and thomas waiting for you guys to drive by. But since this was in between pizza deliveries I had to run back to work real fast.

Actually it was taken by one of the guys in the Az Mustangs club. Here are the rest that he has from the day. He takes great pics. I think its the same guy I got our drag racing pics from.
