Adjustable leaf spring??

    On my leaf springs where it is bolted on the back it has a long bracket with three different holes and it seems like someone put it there because its much longer then any ive seen. you can actually see the entire thing from the back. why would someone do this? ill try and post a pic in a while

    They sound like lift shackles and they are to lift the rear of the car to make up for sagging springs or just for looks.
