Hello, I just joined the forum, my buddy has a '72 Yellow maverick 4dr with a 302 automatic. Well last winter we pulled the tranny and had it rebuilt. Now just last night we pulled the motor, left the tranny in place, and planning on doing a few things to the motor to build some power. Right now it is a 2bbl, so one plan is to change it to a 4bbl. I would like to talk him into some headers, but so far I'm scared of finding some that will fit? Any suggestions? Well thanks guys.

edit: Oh I am 18 and he's 19, so we are learning young :D

Thanks everyone! I'm used to forums, I've been on a Festiva one since '08 haha.
Hey I'll be going to Ridgewater in Willmar next fall! I've tried searching a little, but I'll try some more lol.

What are you taking up at Ridgewater? My youngest son is doing PSEO there next year to get his AA degree.
There is a brown Comet 4 door running around Willmar right now but I have not seen him on the forum yet.
