We are home from the GATHERING had a amazing time and totally wore out. This event held by the MCG is what its all about as far as I am concerned. Tons of events for everyone. Great people great cars. The kids had a blast all week and the games for them on show day was superb! We have lots of pictures to post and will do that in the next few days. Thanks to everyone that made this week fantastic!!!
Ditto John. As much as I enjoyed myself, I think my kids were the real winners. Chloe raced over to the neighbors as soon as she got home to tell them all about it.
I have been to car shows before were the kids have no special activities set up for them. Not only did they have organized games, there were prizes and they even got goodie bags......and when wives took care of the raffle as everyone else sat and enjoyed themselves, dont think would happen at too many other shows. Just another reason the MCG is
Yes we did Jack, get sucked into one of the kids games and here are pics of why John should be disqualified. He has 15 marshmellows in there but couldn't close his mouth. I had 14 before I gagged and they all came out.
You all know our daughter Page who is 16, what you probably dont know is what the MCG group means to her, for the past 3 years its always in her mind and is manditory, she will know this group (as will my wife and I) for the rest of her life and I am very thankful for that. Can't wait till next year!!!
Had a great time, even without rhe car. Tony and Terry put on a great event, and rheir support staff was supberb. Thanks to all, and it was great to meet new friends and see some old ones again. MCG rules!
Has anyone heard from the Grahams on their journey home? Ruth & Don certainly put forth a ton of effort and deserve a big hand (or a boat ride).
I think the kids might have been the biggest winners but it is because of these fine parents and adults. Page is a great young woman, so grateful to meet her.
