Good question, but go back and look at the picture again. Belt is a flat style, but it's not wrapped around the pump for a reversre rotation.
It's a standard rotation pump with a ltd pulley on it... Timing cover matches.... I will pull the pump off yet again I guess when I get a chance and inspect for cracks in the pump case
There shouldnt be a bolt hole through the cover in the area you indicated...That said, you have a defective cover...Good luck!!!
It turns out that it wasn't leaking out of the bolt hole but rather out of a small crack just below it... You can see in this pic where the water is coming out but you can't really see the crack... I guess it's from the manufacturer machining the bolt surface too far down and getting into the pump wall
Wow, good find! Not good, but you know. I know it must tick you a little, but at-least you have found the problem.
I was actually glad to find it lol... Always expect to find low quality parts these days... The pump wa cheap and I bought it over a year ago... Just gotta quit being cheap and buy good parts
