    I just ordered a Don Hampton 6-71 Blower for my 72 mav. I was wondering if anyone had a similar set up and knew what kind of hood it might fit under. Also If anyone knows if they make lower profile motor mounts for our cars. thanks for all your help.

    Awesome, I doubt a 6-71 is ever going to fit under a hood without a rediculous scoop

    Probably will but i drive the car all the time in rain but it should not hurt anything.

    That Don Hampton is a helluva guy, did you talk to him? :bananaman His shop turns out quality products, and always has. Don himself often makes up the custom blower intake manifolds for unique one off applications.

    I did talk to him and will again shortly to answer some other questions i have and your right he is a wonderful person to talk to and very knowledgeable person. As far as what i paid 4g roughly covers everything i'm getting from him but there is more that i will need i'm sure. I will post some pics when i get it i promise.
