    Hey everybody,was wondering how everybody elses maverick sound like so im making this thread so everybody can put a sound clip of there car on here or a vid.please put what you have on here too:)

    1974 maverick 302 bored over .60 performer rpm heads,torker-II intake and cam,600 edelbrock carb,hooker headers,bassani x-pipe with 40 series flow masters

    If you do a search, there are a couple of threads similar to this with people comparing mufflers, etc. with sound and video clips.

    Here it is on the dyno. I told the guy to run it to 7000, he chickened out and quit it at 6000. I typically shift at 6500. There is a little extra tinny noise due to the metal building, but the growl is still there.



    And in the garage idling around.

    No joke man and I thought my car sounded good too. need to beef up my cam in my car. Heres a vid of mine when I first rebuit my engine open .
