So how good is this "dash cap" for our Mavs? My pad is cracked and I need to get that fixed and am thinking about getting one. Thanks in advance!!
They are really good. Hard to tell from the original. The only problem I've had is that it gets so hot here in Az. that I've had 2 warp on me. I think they say if you are parking in a really hot area to cover it with a towel or something. You probably won't have that problem.
I had put one on my Maverick before I quit driving it 14 years ago. Here it is when I decided to work on it last year. It had 1 crack about 3" long in the center. I have since replaced it with another. So I'd say they are pretty tough being that my car had sit outside under a tarp so long in this Tennessee heat.
I have had mine for 3-4 years and it still looks new. No problems with it. It is a small price to pay and it will look way better. I think I paid like $80, shipping included, off of ebay.
