I am now the proud owner of a 74 Maverick and am trying to gather parts so I can start having some fun. I recently bought bucket seats to replace my bench from a 73 Maverick & was wondering if they will bolt right into the floor of my 74. The seats came with the tracks and bolts. Hoping it will be an easy switch.

You will need to drill holes in the floor pan for the inboard track bolts...Welcome to the forum !!

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Depends on whether your 74 has a Catalytic Convertor or not. 74 was the first year they appeared.

welcome from the great NW. :drive: I believe the tracks for the 74-77 are different than the earlier models because of the catilitic converter hump in the floor. I have seen the seat tracks for sale on this forum. Good luck with the project.

Be sure to use big washwers on top and bottom of the floor pan to spread the load around if the tracks you have don't line up with the original holes
