I bought a factory mav floor shifter a while back and was wondering if I would need anything beside the shifter itself, the bezel and the linkage (which I still need) to complete the install? I am retro-fitting a coulmn shift car. Luckliy the factory left me a template to cut the hole so that should be a piece of cake. Just want to make sure I have all the parts before I cut. Thanks in advance for any insight.

    manual 4 speed topload template?

I would like to know if one of the members has a template for the floor for the above mentioned with a Hurst Shifter? I want to measure twice and cut once. I don't want to butcher up the transmission hump. Dave.

    Please reply

I want to cut the hump to install a Hurst 4 speed shifter. Should I be looking to mount it in the same spot that the automatic floor shift goes or over to the left? Surely someone has done this before and I do not have the option to create a new thread?? Thanks, David.
