I plan to start working on a 68 Cyclone for my cousin. He would like to find a stout 351w to drop in it. He does'nt want a stroker. He just wants a 351 roller. I can't find any 351's that aren't stroked. I'm looking for about 400 horse. Anyone have any suggestions?
The only thing I could find was a 7,700 racing mill. A little much. I was kinda hoping for 6000 and under price range.
I am sure there are local builders in your area that will build what you want. A stroker will be about the same money and more power.
FMS sells a cheap 351, but it's more of a truck motor. http://www.mustangmonthly.com/techarticles/mump_0605_ford_small_crate_engine_guide/photo_05.html 350TQ A cam swap would probably liven it up a bit
I need a block also my time is limited so file cutting rings for a stroker plus machine work kinda limits me to a straight drop in hopefully done by spring.

In Georgia try Mustang parts specialist- winder Ga. ,pick and pull in Atl. and metro mustang. I have not drove a windsor 351 that wasnt stout! Those windsors dont come cheep.<----- My idea of stout.
