Very nice! I really like the long shifter handle with the bench seat. It reminds me of the "ALL BUSINESS" '70 1/2 Falcon 429 CJ 4 speed.

I am planning on doing the 5 speed swap to my '73.

Thanks. I like the no frills look, too. The headers used to be Hedmann shorties. I had to adjust them a bit to clear the pitman arm. I did the passenger side as well to get a better angle near the firewall.

The 5 speed turns it into a completely different car-way more fun.

Looks good. Watch out for that air cleaner though. One bad backfire and that foam will melt and fall into the carb. The guy that decided to put non flame retardant foam over a carb needs slapped.

I see you bolted your CNC master cylinder up the same way I bolted my Willwood up. :thumbs2:

Guess my question is does the pedal bottom out on the cylinder a couple inches away from the floor like mine does? If it does you might want too look at putting a bump stop in on the pedal its not neccisarily too good on the MC to keep bottoming it out.

Your setup looks awesome great job, and yes I agree the 5 speed makes the car allot more fun, and I love the hydraulic clutch setup. It doesnt wear your leg out like the old linkage borg and beck clutches have a tendency too do.

Thanks. I've heard that about the air cleaners. I never have liked it. I'm going to replace it with something less risky and less ugly.

Seems like it bottomed out at first, but I was able to screw the push rod in at the pedal to get it closer to the floor. It's not as light as I thought it would be, either. I don't know whether it's because I couldn't use the outer hole on the clutch fork or some other reason. I purchased a bracket for mounting that slave cylinder, but even with the bracket shimmed out, there was a bit more angle on the push rod than I wanted, so I used the inner one. It's not bad; just not as easy as I'd anticipated.

I've not seen valve covers painted that way. I like them a LOT better than m,y Ford Blue ones

Thanks. I wish I still had my Powered by Ford covers. I'd have painted them the same color. I think it's the "cast" color in a spray bomb from Autozone.
To 302-72-Mav: I'm pretty sure I emailed you with questions before I started. Thanks for the help!
