they just seem expensive to me..all around 50+ and like 15 to ship to me. just seems like a lot for some boots, is there any other places that are cheaper? i know there a good thing to have especially with running headers and the msd wires that come straight out which will probably be really close to the 6901's if not touching. so is there any others or do i just bite the bullet and make a purchase that i know is well worth it?

are you talking about the sleves that go over the wire's so they dont burn ? if so they are 20$ for 2 at kragen's so all 8 for 50 doesint sound bad ?

just wrap the header parts that will touch the wire's with header wrap

I used wires that have a 45ยบ bend on the boots and have had NO problems with my 6901's

$50 for all 8 isnt too bad. I bought a pair 10 years ago and havent melted a wire since. Ive run the 45 degree wires and one would still touch and burn sometimes before I got the boots.

I run the sleeves and I'm sure if I did not have them I'd of burnt some wires. Cheap insurance in my book. :)

ya that's them..i think ill just have to suck it up and get them. i'm running the MSD Streetfire? wires i think they are called. so i think ill just buy them now instead of buying new wires if i happen to burn them.
might just search around ebay or something for some used ones seems i don't think they'd go bad
