    My cars are Mavericks again!

Well, I got the corrected reports back and I must say that, goof-ups aside, I found the folks at Ford CRC to be very pleasant and helpful. I definitely recommend taking the time to have this done, especially since it's a FREE service! What's really cool (to me at least) is that the report for the Sprint shows that it was made here in Canada. Anyhow, for anyone who wants to see what the reports show, here are the links (they're on a different server, so as to save bandwidth here):

Here it is ... all the info does match my Marti Report ...

I'm guessing an AM radio was included in the Grabber package because it is not listed ...

Hey Maple, both your cars came with block heaters. Does it get chilly up there?

    Are they still installed?

Dennis - yes, and yes. Maybe you should come out and see for yourself, January and February are often a special treat, with the wind chill at times making it feel like -40 or colder.

NO thanks. I spent 6 months in Iceland in the middle of the winter and that was enough coldness for me.

When was the last time you were there? With the wind chill it was averag 20 below zero when I was there. This was back in the 70's. Maybe global warming has helped out a bit.

See you talk "wind chill" maybe you need to just "chill" My point was ,there's no such thing as "6 months in the middle of winter" Cut me some slack!

Got back from vacation today and my "999" was in the mail box. All the info looks good for my 70 so I'm going to request one for the 73 now.

I got mine a few years ago. The guy on the phone said: "what's a Maverick?", and he was serious. I couldn't believe it. I asked him how old he was. He said "26". Crazy...

I was chilled, chilled to the bone. It was not 35 degrees the whole time I was there. To say its not that cold because the average temp is 35 is ridiculous. It was at or just below zero with wind chills to minus 20. Thats cold in my book. As far as the 6 months, I didnt realize I was being graded on sentence structure. I'll be sure to study harder before the next test. I'm really chillin now. :D

Sorry to hear you won't be out to visit us this winter, Dennis. If you change your mind just give us a couple hours notice so we can set up a tent for you in the yard. :D BTW does this give you the necessary info for your Sprint registry? Let me know if you need more details.
