"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing."

    Hmph. Big surprise.

How about some pics of the engine, "4 speed", "9 inch", the rest of the interior, trunk, etc.... I want to see.... :) Guaranteed it's a 3 speed, 8 inch.

He relisted it and updated the description. Now he says that as far as he knows all the information is true and doesn`t appreciate people telling him otherwise. And he changed some of the numbers he supplied too.Still claims it has a "heavy-duty webbed 9" traction-lock rearend with 3.00 gears",when the tag #`s he supplied say its an 8" with open 3.00 gears. And that elusive factory 4bbl intake and autolite carb are still missing.

The kit came with the manifolds.
The turbo is marked "Air Research", I believe they are not related to Garrett.
It was already mentioned the car was coded for Ontario.
The tranny code, best I can make his numbers, is for a 3 speed.
The man lists his car as "posi", I won't get into the whole anal discussion over 'posi' being a GM term, but I will say that the rear end tag that he listed with that statement says the diff is open.
3.L00 is 3.00 gears with limited slip.
    Dave ;)

What's incredible is he started the bid at $3500 on this vehicle that is probably not even a worthwhile parts car when the rust free White Grabber with Red Interior only hit $2550 the other day ....

Not to ruffle your feathers but you are pricing that way over any meaningful value. I just bought an EBAY maverick for 4900.00 rust free 3.40 posi in close to mint condition. I notice you have no bids and doubt you will. Realistically it is worth maybe 2000.00 to the right person. The numbers you had posted on the first auction were misrepresented. If you want to get expert advice on mavericks please visit WWW.MAVERICK.TO. No disrespect intended but Selling on Ebay is a serious gig, misrepresenting any auction is not cool and ignorance is no longer a cop out. Good Luck

An email I sent them, I hate people like this. At least he dropped the Shelby part:rolleyes:

Well I guess it wasn't a shelby after all:( I should have known since it was build in Canada and this guy is not the tooth fairy.

Hey he does have big dreams if he thinks this car will sell for 3,500!! WAIT there is a fool born every minute:clap:
