Well, my driving force is Ed (fan2488)... I am watching his POS turn into a nice car QUICKLY!!! I watched him cut an entire quarter out, then have one cut from another car, and over a weekend, his looks like new! Made me feel like a lazy creep.

Mine doesn't have much left to do. Ed could probably do my entire car in a weekend.

He wants to have his painted this summer, so I figured if I could get mine straight by then, I can put mine in his paint booth when he pulls his out, and just borrow his stuff and get it done on the semi-cheap.

I cannot pass up a deal like that...

Paint is one of the most satisfying things to me. It's one thing to get a project up and driving, but when you get a good paint job, it makes it seem like a whole different car.

Of course then you have to keep it washed and waxed, but that's another story!:yup:

I have been holding off on paint simply because the hood won't stay shut ;)

I was really wanting to do all the mechanical upgrades and stuff first, before painting.

I guess I can always go back and repaint fenders after I pull the engine, install the 6-71 blower, and swap out the front sub-frame.
