Im looking at heads I compared the flow numbers of both of these heads. Im impressed with the AFRs Num bers. What do they mean when they say "Raised Exhaust Ports"? Does that effect what kind of headers I can use. Cause the E205s have standard exhaust port location.
    1800.00 AFR 1400.00 E202

Id spend the extra 400.00 for the AFRs but not if I need custom headers at$$$$$$$$$

Anybody know if the AFRs are overkill for a street/weekend strip fun car?

the exhaust ports are higher up in the head. all the ready made headers for a maverick are too small of a tube size to use those heads to their potential.
if your planing on making the power levels that those heads are intended for you should be doing custom headers.

I was afraid of that. Those heads are probably overkill for a 332. Im gonna look a little closer at the E205s.

The hooker 6208's would be an economical alternative to custom. Lots of info on this site about using them.
