Hi This is my first post on this site. I live in Crawfordsville, Indiana. I just picked up a 1974 Grabber 2 Door with no motor, trans, or most of the original interior. lol. I also picked up at the same time a 302 out of a 1973 Mustang. I will be rebuilding it mostly as a fun car for me to work on and to drive around with the kids when it gets done. A little more about myself is i work in a factory here in town and my daily drivers include a 2003 Cavalier LSS work car and a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T with a HEMI. I will keep everyone posted with pics and status of the car as i go. Thanks. Questions, comments, and advice ALWAYS welcome.
Also if anyone knows where i can pick up either a c4 or c6 trans around me or within a decent driving distance. Please let me know. Thanks.
I would say check with Craig Selvey also from Indiana. I'm sure he will see your post and chime in. No Maverick came with a C6. The small trans tunnel becomes a challenge using anything larger than a C4. I sent you a friends request in Facebook. I enjoyed your photo album
Welcome aboard from a fellow Hoosier. I have several C-4 tranny's. I am just a little north of Muncie. I also host the Indiana Mini-Meet for the Maverick Comet Club International, Inc. (MCCI). That will be coming up this summer. The MCCI will be holding their 19th Annual Roundup Nationals in Dearborn, Michigan this July 24-29. You will see lots and lots of Mavericks and Comets.
