    Hi all,

Replacing passenger door on a 70 Maverick
Have a later model door with crank and door handle etc in different location.
Anyone know the best way to go about doing this swap?

    Thanks

You're going to have to move over all the hardware inside the door. The door handle, all the rods, etc.

I change an early door to a later door. I cut out the peices i needed placed them where i needed them then traced the outline. cut out the parts no longer needed and welded in the correct peices. Wasnt hard, just takes some time.

Thanks Fan2488, that's what I was thinking, just wanted to see what others thought.
Hard to find donor door for the right year and the one I found, mid 70's I think, is in great shape.
    Thanks again!
