Tim and Collin came up today to pick up the disc brake brackets and calipers Jeff and I got for them last week.
we looked over my setup and Tim suggested we go to Pull-A-Part in Atl.l and get the e-brake cables we need to finish the swap.
I called Jeff and he met us at Summit. we loaded him up and we took off.
got to P-A-P and found about 10 cars with the correct cabels. we got the cabels, 2 varable speed wiper switches, one Tauras fan, 1 Volvo fan relay, 1 2V carb (pinto) w/breather, 1 pair of disc brake brackets, etc, etc
we were there about 2 hours when from out of nowhere....

    and as always...

"A Large Time Was Had By All"

    Tim, thanks for lunch...:Handshake

how much did the taurus fan cost you? i went to 2 wreckers here and they sent everything to get crushed basically..everytime i go theres nothing but they had a couple taurus's so i figured maybe in luck...he wanted 95 dollars for a fan..i got him down to 60 dollars cash then when i went to pull it, it was MIA and i never did get one.

it was leaning on a van about 20 feet from where we had been pulling parts for hours.
the same area we pulled all the brake parts last weekend...
this is the same hood Jeff told me about 3-4 weeks ago. I went up then and the mav was there but the hood was gone.
it just appeared from somewhere...Jeff asked..."ain't that a Grabber hood"...all 4 of us took one step and we were on it...:yup:
it reminded me of a flock of sea gulls at the beach...you toss a tater chip, 4 birds grab it and take off.
that's what we did. got it and went down across the yard with it.
it was closing time at the yard and a guy was riding around blowing his horn, he was driving a van so we went out, put all our stuff in his van and he took it to the office for us...:thumbs2:
