omni rack and pinion?

    Has anyone seen or know if the dodge omni rack can be made to work in these cars. :hmmm:

    That is what I got in mine. Took a lot of work to make it work. My 351 is set back about 4" and I got a deep sump oil pan so the rack was to low. So had to get drop downs for the spindles and to make the drop downs work had to add threads to the rack. But it's all good and figured out now.

    Wow and I worry about my long tube headers scraping over speedbumps... honestly that setup sounds scary if you try and drive it on the road..:cry:

    What type of tierod ends did you use for yours?

    I drive it on the road and it's not bad. The only time I had problems was when I lived on a dirt road that was really uneven

    They came with the drop down kit. And had to add thread to the tierods due to the narrow wheel base
