Hey all, I joined the group a few days ago in advance of owning my first Maverick. It's a 1977 6-cyl, and I actually am picking it up today. It will be split usage as a daily driver to a short work commute, and my first project car since a '72 Thunderbird I left to a lucky buyer in Pittsburgh when I moved to Nashville. I've looked over the post quite a bit and it looks like there are some great people and information on here. I'm looking forward to it, as the Maverick will definitely be needing some TLC and assistance. Luckily the motor and trans are in tip shape - Main work needed is refinishing the trashed and split interior and a new paint job (guy bought it from a D-I-Y'er that decided to paint it gold and left all the door jambs, engine bay and trunk bright blue). Obviously I will be adding to the list as our time together moves forward, but man am I happy to get back into another project machine!
