    Hello everyone.
My Name is Jamie Walters, I am new to the maverick scene but not to the custom car scene. I have always wanted to build a maverick to the nines. Thats why I'm here.
I am director of sales for MiMod HP and we are building a car to take with use to shows (PMI, SEMA) in order to showcase our systems. I wanted something different and not your typical build. That's when the pro touring maverick came to mind.
This has to be the best place to get all the information we need to make the build right. All the chassis and fab work are being done by JKD racing in WI.
Should turn out to be a wicked ride and may even end up creating some long overdue custom suspension upgrades for these cool cars.
We will start a thread on here within the next week or so for all who are interested in following it.
Looks like a great forum you have here, should be fun.

I will post pic as soon as I have some. We are just about to purchase a 72 in really nice shape.
The mill we decided on was a SBF 358 setup
    351W Dart Iron eagle block
    sonny bryant crank
    corrilla rods
    wiseco pistons 12:1
    racing main and rod bearings
Yates C3 heads with titanium valves and retainers , Comp springs
    Jessle Shaft mount roller rockers
    Belt drive
Yates intake drilled for fuel injection with edelbrock fuel rails
Comp cam custom grind roller cam with roller lifters
    MSD ignition
    FAST fuel injection management
    Stainless custom headers

This setup should make about 750 hp N/A

We are also hoping to run a TKO 600

    Should be a fun ride.
    Thanks

    Welcome aboard.

I see you are from Illinois. You are in luck. The Maverick Comet Club International, Inc. (MCCI) will be holding their 19th Annual Roundup Nationals in Dearborn, Michigan this July 24-29. You will see lots and lots of Mavericks and Comets. You will have to plan and attend. More details can be found at www.MaverickCometClub.org
