Ok yes... I took a few pics had a great time with all the guys... hopefully John can make it next time... Here we are when we first got down there.. you know the only reason I pulled in that way was too tell him that he was dumping antifreeze everywhere... everyone else just followed suit I guess otherwise I would have probably turned around too match the way he was facing. Now here we are at the sign... I must say that sure is a cool old comet... its a 73 LDO.. its a later one that actually had a glove box in it. Too bad he couldn't go over and get shakes with us, was a fun ride over. Its interesting how different of a stance my car ended up with, after I cut a coil and a half off the front. here are a few pics in the Maverick center parking lot... I thought this picture was a classic I really like this picture... I just wish I would have gotten the whole car in it like this one too.. MMMM shakes... Really good couple of pictures of Bart and his family... Gotta put some pictures of my wife Melissa in there... apparently she pinches so nobody wanted too sit by her... Like I said before yeah I ended up with kids and stepkids today... my kids were the entertaining ones... and last but not least I figured I would throw one of of me and big john in... he told my wife "I don't like girls" and he had to come and stand around and talk with all the big boys..(if you haven't guessed John is the handsome one)
Glad to see you guys made it together finally, always a good time when a few Mav/Comets get together. Now I am hungry for ice cream but more important to get some nice sunny weather, rain and cloudy days are getting depressing. In just a little over a month I will be passing through Ogden on my way to Kentucky
Yeah I'm really Sorry I couldnt make it guys I've been battling congestive heart failure for 6 years, going to a lot of madatory classes on base, and when you get sick with heart failure it takes 3 doctor visits, & 3 perscriptions to get better. The heart failure was caused by a virus that's why you stay home in bed when your sick. The job I had at the time was the 2nd best of my 31+ years of working for the government plus I had to get my car running right. Maybe we could try again on a Saturday or Sunday before the summer ends again guys I'm really Sorry I missed out.
