I've now got my 1975 Comet running pretty decent and on the road, so would anyone care to help me out and maybe make a list of things that might have gone bad after 37 years, that wouldn't be easily noticed. So far I've replaced the carburetor, all fluids, all belts, plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, a lot of vacuum line, and the battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds like a good start. I ran some fuel system cleaner through a couple of tanks of gas and then changed out the fuel filter. Check the codition of the shocks and maybe have the cooling system flushed. Enjoy.

Brake and fuel lines also. Both of mine rusted out on my Falcon after sitting 14 years
