Here is a Fiberfab Jamaica kit with Maverick/Pinto tail lights. http://www.curbsideclassic.com/blog/question/cc-outtake-ukc-unidentified-kit-car/
It would look a lot cooler with Comet tail lights ... and some tires that actually fill it out ... and a small block V8 ... ... I'll stop now .... Actually, not bad for a kit car, as shown by the gold MG version further down in the post.
That car itself may be a POS, but that's one of the best looking kitcar bodies I've ever seen. It actually looks like a car instead of something scrawled on a piece of manila paper by a 13 year old boy.
My dad almost ordered a Jamacian but ended up building a street rod instead. They have some of the best lines ever for a kit car...but the taillamps don't fit the look. The Fiberfab Avenger was pretty neat. I had a chance to buy one for $500 last year. Kinda wish I'd got it but money was tight.
I disagree, I think the taillights look perfect. They look better than the ones in the ad. Hell I think they look better on that car than they do on a Maverick.
I agree, the tail lights make that car look complete! Dunno about better than on a maverick though.. wait I like the bobcat lights on maverick so yeah even better than on a maverick!
I would have never guessed that FiberFab would have built such a great looking body.........ofcourse I'd have to see what the chassis looked like, but I'd buy one if someone offered it for sale..................most of the FiberFab stuff was junk.......................................IMHO
