    Here is a picture of a 1975 Maverick with "freshened up" tail lights. I wonder what other improvements/refinements were planned but never made it to production in the Maverick's final years.

    Aren't these tail lights from the later model Pintos? :idea:

    I have a set of those taillights(from a pinto)...was going to put them on my car a few years back but wasn't sure if they would have looked good or not! Turns out they would have looked pretty good!

    They are very similar to the latest Pinto lights ...79-80 IIRC.

    I think they take some of the focus off the larger bumper. Would take some getting used to, but not bad.
