new to this forum, but i have a question

    so, i have a 1969 maverick, and i just got it painted and i started putting it back together, but, i forgot how to get my antenna back on. If anyone can help that would be great.

    4 screws hole it to the fender. It will fit two ways. One way the antenna will lay sideways the other will stand up straight

    I welded the hole closed. I don't have a radio bvut if I did, it would have an antenna like Franks...hidden

    ive got that mounting piece on the fender, but theres this little half circle thing that i cant get to work right, it either cant reach the threads or its tight and the antenna is still moving.

    Sounds aftermarket. Factory antenna is all one piece except the chrome cover that snaps on over the screw base.
