Anybody here using one of these?? It is made by grab-a-track and pretty much screws onto the drag link where the control valve is and you dump every thing else and it bolts right up to the power steering pitman arm. Thanks for any and all input! Richard
I seriously looked at them but found that I could get a pitman arm and drag link cheaper. I did a lot of reading about them on the Mustang websites. Although no one said anything negative, most people had the opinion to swap all of the parts to manual.
I am using the borgeson version which is similar/better build quality(heck they might even be made by the same people) on my Power steering setup, honestly I am not super thrilled with it. Honestly the setup instructions on those are somewhat of a joke, you screw it in all the way, then you back it off a certain number of turns, reinstall the roll pin and tighten it down. But if there is any flaws in the 40 year old centerlink then it will put the adaptor out of alignment. I am planning on going back and putting a manual center link on my power steering setup, it requires a manual pitman arm and a manual center link. Now that can be a little pricey $250 for a centerlink from Oreileys and then the cost of the pitman arm. But when you look at the price of the adaptors coming in at around $150- $200 you are pretty much there anyways. (I only used my adapter because it came with the power steering gearbox, in retrospect I would have gone for the cheaper power steering box that didnt come with the power steering hoses or the centerlink adapter)
