stereo hook up

    i tried wiring up a new stereo to my 72 mercury comet but when get it hooked up and i turn the car on it just vibrates and doesnt display or power up :hmmm:

    Well....you have probably done something wrong. Recheck all of your wiring. Make sure you have a good metal ground.

    Vibrates? Does it have a motorized face on the stereo.

    Buy a test light and test the wires. The wires might be hooked up wrong.

    Also the remote wire has to be powered up with a wire also. You might not have the remote wire hooked up. Need more info on your wiring.
