I started the race going up to 120, car felt great, much more "planted" than last year. I accelerated to 139 and maintained that for 20-30 miles. A/F was in the mid 11's, switched to 5th gear and stayed at 135 for another 10 miles. I blew passed this corvette during the race, kinda funny. Finished in 43 minutes.
we put allot more pics video and info about the sliver state classic challange on our shops facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Current-Auto-Performance/446297835397899?ref=hl
a few more of my favorite pics.... this is at the car show .... great breakfast hosted by the locals in Ely we had time to do a few more passes down a deserted road and think we tuned it really well on race day.... we started with a caravan at 6am from Ely to Lundt and then to the start line... we don't have to don the equipment until we get to the line... there is a big truck stop where everyone is put in the proper order and cars are sent out every 30 seconds... this is right at the start line on highway 318.... cars line up and they are sent out every 2 minutes... this is where everyone gets help from someone nearby to get into their equipment... the corvette to my right is the one I blew by in one of the videos, I'll see if I can upload that... I mean I love all the guys there but the vette guys are a special interesting breed... it's nice getting one up on them the big yellow thing is the start line... here I'm at the finish line!! unbelievable exhilaration
I set my tire pressures at 41 and the temp came up to 116 and 125... GPS showing my max speed my top windshield trim came off during the race... just bugs, no cows here!
here is my favorite video, it's long but just the start it's pretty cool, you can see the speedo (it's 5 miles slow) ... I love it!
Very, Very cool! and congradulations...................looks like you are hooked! So..............why didn't Bryant go along as your navigator/co-piolt???????
