not a bad package for what you're after there. I would still opt for the air-gap over that little performer. My buddy bought one years ago for his Mustang II Cobra. He didn't even make it a year before we were bolting on the air-gap in its place. lol

Or.. I'd at least add a 1" 4-hole spacer under that low-rise manifold(if you have the hood clearance. Or a 1" open spacer will pump up your midrange even more when you do rev it a bit. The air-gap will lose about 5-10 ftlb of immediate off-idle torque(sub 2,000 rpm).. but pick up an easy 15 in the middle with that particular cam.

Guess I didn't read the first sentence.....................but yes, I'd recommend 205/210cc's for a mild street build. My thought process is always looking past the inital build..................as the builder gets tired of a "Mild Motor" and wants to graduate to a little more HP it becomes harder to do it with 185/195cc heads unless you are going to use a Turbo or NO2...............I've got TF-R 225's on my 408 and wouldn't hesitate at putting them on a street motor...................................You Can Never Have Enough HP or Cubic Inches.....................................................IMHO

while building my motor I have been doing the best I can with the money I have to upgrade as much as possible and still leave room for more upgrades later

I managed to go $500 over my $2500 budget but the parts I ordered gave me room to upgrade later without having to replace everything again so it was money well spent

you have to figure out a budget for parts then buy what you can from there

Over the past 10 years costs for manufacturing have gone up substantially in China, but I doubt this will bring the companies back to the USA.......taxes, labor, and the good old government taking a big bite out of the bottom line dollar has driven a lot of companies to China. It's also driving some of Fortune 100 and 500 companies to end production here in the USA and look outside the US where it's easier to make a profit, and thousands more people will be loosing their job in the next few years.
Yep, it's a shame but we only have ourselves to blame.........................IMHO

After alot of research and talking to fellow members on here I have decided on a set of GT40 Heads. I ordered a set on Ebay last night. When they get here they are going to the machine shop to get checked out and cleaned. Thank you everyone who put their input into this.
