Ive never made a claim with them but heard it wasnt a big deal and they were great to work with. This weekend I got some damage to my front fender scraping a tool cart as I pulle dout of the garage. I figured Id just live with it like I did when crunched the rocker panel on a jackstand a while ago. So I calle dmy local agent who said just call them in and they will take care of both incidents no problem. I also told my agent my windshiled had developed a long crack in it and would need replaced too while Im at it. he said he would set that up on his end.

So I call Hagerty and tell them about the 2 body issues and it was all simple stuff and said an adjuster would call me in a day or less to set up a look at it. Then the glass people call me and we had to have a conference call with Hagerty to get the glass replaced. At the end of that call they said we need to hold off on the Window until an Adjuster reviews the claims because now there are 3 seperate claims, one for each thing. Ive been putting off calling on the other two because I feel guilty claiming my own accidental damage but my agent said not to worry about it. But did I kick myself in the ass by filing them all at once? will they raise my rates next year? The Hagerty lady said a claim wont affect a policy but will 3 affect it even though one is glass coverage and the other two will be fixed at the same time anyways?

We were just talking about this yesterday, Hagerty just bought out one of the biggest collector car insurance companies in Canada. One guy has had 2 claims since, and no issues...they must be making loads of cash...just look at some of the stuff going on around here.

Me, my blue Grabber was covered by Hagerty, paid claim for it then I transfered the same policy to my green Grabber, and one unsticking of my DD pickup, no extra in premiums.

I think your issue might be the three claims in one shot. They are usually very good to deal with.

Thats what I was thinking. I hate claiming things so I put it off but now its to the point things need to get fixed and I decided I pay for it so I might as well use it.

The wind blew my hood shut at a car show and prop rod jammed between hood and fender. They sent me $1700 for repairs. I just had to send them pics and they approved.

The damage appraiser came by last night and took pics. Theres 4 4 inch scratch on the front fender inthe dark color of my car. Im concerned about anybody being able to match the paint. Its a custom gray color with green and gold in the metallic or pearl or something. The shop that did it is long gone and I will be real surprised if it can be matched. Id almost rather paint the whole car again because if I can see a difference then it will bug me forever. The damage on the lower silver part is a simple factory ford color so it will be easy. I should know today what they have for a dollar amount.

And Im getting the windshield replaced today. they had the glass and gasket both in town already.
