http://www.ebay.com/itm/FRONT-KIT-2...s-/350579343593?forcev4exp=true&forceRpt=true They arent a bad price and im looking to chAnge out the front rotors and pads soon. anyone? thanks
I've not had any luck with ebay on these types of packages. Crappy pads that actually delaminate from the backer and rotors that warp without even doing any high speed highway stops combined with cheap corrosion protection. Oh fun. Usually chaeper in the long run to buy individual and known quality parts with a decent warranty. Plus, with front brakes.. it's hard to actually make them stop too good. And performance pads are also wortth their weight in gold, IMHO.
My guess is that they are made in China.....................so many parts are these days........Eagle/SCAT/CAT and others. For suspension parts I wouldn't rely on anything except made in the USA, and that doesn't mean having the parts made in China and finish machined here. It only takes 35% USA content to have them put a made in the USA label on the part..................................................cheapest usually isn't the way to go....................IMHO
I've been using those rotors for a long time without any problems. The pads I used were Bendix ceramics from Rockauto.
Wow really? Should i go with another brand? (which would probably be stock rotors sinve noone makes anything for mavericks) bendix ceramics huh.. Ill look into those too, pretty sure it works great stopping your setup
Don't know anything about the pads that come with those rotors, since I didn't get them as a package deal like that, but I am definitely satisfied with my brake setup. I can terrify passengers with both pedals!
If you're changing rotors it's an ideal time to change the wheel bearings too, if you haven't already. New grease seal either way.
