    Craig, I guess we are the same age because I bought my original 1970 Maverick in 1982 and I was 16 as well. I will leave it to the other guys to figure out how old we are though. Driving a 32 Ford at 16 would have been cool though. My Dad had a 1929 DeSoto sitting in my driveway when I was 16 that if I had any knowledge at the time to fix it up I could have. Here is a pic of my Dad with the car. I was about 6 when this picture was taken. You cant see it but the license plate is 1971. I have other pics that verify this. The family still has the car but it was left to my nephew in my Dad's will. He has the know how to restore this thing back to the way it looked here.
