if youre not sure if you have a booster or not look for a big old ugly bracket on the drivers side under the windshield in the engine compartment. if youve got that big old ugly bracket than there should be a big round booster there then you would have power brakes. I believe that year came with factory power brakes? I know both 74's I had came with power brakes. one with disc and one with drum. the 4 door came with disc and the two door came with drum

I didnt think power brakes were available on our cars until 75. Am I wrong? I reckon the car in question could have been modified too.

That big ugly sucker in the foreground, bottom right of the pic. See how my shock tower brace wraps around the master cylinder? Cars with factory power brakes have that brace. Otherwise, the shock tower brace will be straight like the one on the passenger side.

    No power brakes until 1976.

Thanks! Ive been waiting for you, lol. I wasnt sure, 75 must have been front disk, yes? Anyway, I was pretty sure there were no power brakes offered in 74.

Thanks. What would I need for a power brake conversion?

Upgrading the master cylinder makes a huge difference.
