Guy showed up today and did the wight thing. He brought over another trans that looked very corroded but after checking the input shaft play I realized the one I got from him before had maybe 4x the amount of the new one he brought over. Even so I told him I did not want it back. He agreed once it is returned to him he will refund the 500$. If I drove it for even a day and it broke on me I would definitely eat it, but not even a full day of driving and its junk? Waiting for a call back on the t-5z from ford. Maybe we will get a bit of a discount since we are a shop.
