it doesnt say it fits maverick. their is very little room between the back of the differential housing and the vertical section of the trunk floor right behind it. i know if their is any room for the coil overs.

If that is the case, why the absence of this information? Something is amiss.

In another thread, someone said, they've used that kit in their Maverick, with some modification. I don't really see the need, a good set of leaf springs and Cal Tracs work awesome.

I contacted them about a year ago curious if they had any plans to ever make a similar kit for the Maverick. He told me they were in the middle of trying it out on a friends car and would see how it went before making a decision to put the assembly into production.

When I reached out to him again few months later he said they would not be doing it. The floor in front of the rear end is much closer than that of a Mustang and makes it much more difficult to do. They ended up cutting the floor of the car they were working with to get proper geometry. He didn't want to put out a product that people would have to start cutting up the floors for access etc.

So I don't see it coming from R&C ever. Too bad, I thought they would be our best shot of getting a set up made.

That was my mav that they installed it in for a fair price. You do have to cut the trunk pan to install coil overs. The rear seat pan is to close to rear Diff to install upper control arms without cutting and I did not want them to cut or alter because I wanted to utilize the rear seat. So they installed upper control arms going to the rear of car. When I finally drove the car it had issues with rear end pitch roll under hard acceleration resulting in reared squat causing driveshaft bottoming out on tunnel.Since then I have cut the seat pan installed upper control arms to the front of the rear. Works like a champ.Oh my seat is installed in place but I would not want to sit back there because of bracket tabs sticking up.

The top coil over mount is only a 1 bar, 2 tabs and 2 angles similar to the frame mount for the top links. These could be duplicated to fit the inside dimensions of the Maverick frame rails so the rest of the kit might still work unless there is a problem with the link lengths being too long. It is the rear sway bar that seems to be the real space problem but how many cars really have or need a rear sway bar anyway.

I had to do a little re-design with my Mustang II cradle being originally designed for an early Falcon where my Maverick front rails were an inch wider than the Falcon on the inside dimension but it worked out in the end.

Remember that it is only metal :thumbs2:
