will that car run on the street with that high of a stall converter? if not why? wont it still take off before that rpm? does it hurt anything to street a converter that high? I have a 2500 stall in my car for now and it takes a little gas to get it to go but it doesnt TAKE off or anything. I tried launching the car as if I was at the track and it threw the whole car sideways damn near wrecked the car :character0182: but then again my rear end is JACKED UP
glad I wasnt at the track. I would of bit the wall right at the starting line :naughty::oops:

Good time guy,I'm a dist for rev maxx conv. ,I like that there a 9 1/2 in conv, helps keep the heat down when using on the street, just make sure you have a nice size trans cooler, and warm trans up good before racing

I run a RevMax, 8" 5000 spragless. I drive to shows some times, trans temp stays normal but I do have a big cooler.

it can work ,just keep checking conv. for paint burning off of it,its all the stop and go stuff that hurts the conv.,there spragless one is a super nice setup, ive ran them for 10years,never had a bad one, some people think you need to spend alot of money to get the best sometimes alot of the cost is profit and middle man cost,i live close to coan, have ran there stuff its good, but for 1/2 the price ill stick with rev maxx,no offence to those who run coan, where else can you get a 4500 stall for 360.00 bucks good to 650hp,in fact i had the same conv. you have, and ran it behind a blown injected ach 358 sbc making 930hp,10.5 tire s10 pick up i use to run in open comp.
