I have had the late model and granada stuff and the looked the same but not like that. I have a set now, I'm going out to take a couple pics and I'll post. I think these were off a granada. But they look just like the ones on Thomas Sellers car which I took off a 77 maverick I parted out. So maybe those are eaarlier ones or off a mustang or something....
I don't see the "sliders" and allen wrench headed retainer bolt like on the Maverick/Comet/Granada/Monarch set-up, so I would say those are NOT Maverick disc brakes.
Frank, I was trying to add the laughing guys behind the "or something" but I couldn't get the smilies to open for me when I edited the post to add the pics. I still wonder, do the calipers have the FORD logo on them some where?
Well not pinto style. Here is a link with picture. http://www.autokrafters.com/p-809-front-disc-brake-caliper-lh-71-73-pinto-all.aspx
I think we have a winner! After Russ said that I went and tried to find pics. Looks like a 68 to 71 caliper, here is a link with pics. http://www.***********************/...rdoneQQBrake_CaliperQQ19681971QQA1184012.html http://www.***********************/...rdoneQQBrake_CaliperQQ19681971QQA1184012.html Well I fdon't know why, maybe it is auto parts warehouse .com (take out the spaces) that is blocking the link or maybe Stefan is blocking sale adds, I don't know, but there are picks if you search for Torino calipers at this site.
