i had installed a set of 1in lowering spring from mustangs unlimited (the blue ones) and after everything was put back togeather with all new suspension parts i noticed that the driverside spring was a little loose and the passenger side spring was good and tight, this is with the front suspension at full hang. i paid it no mind thinking that it would take time for them to settle. that was months ago and today while putting on the new 17's i noticed that that driver side spring still has a little bit of play in it at full hang, once down on full weight i noticed that the driver side is a hair lower than the passenger side. could this be due to the fact that the front springs havnt settled all the way? i thing once i start driving it again it should equal out on the front.

I would think if the springs are the same # rate they should be the same height...:yup:

not that i remember, i think joe dirt used the same ones i have on his mav

it may be due to the fact i need an alignment done after replacing the whole front end

We have a winner!! You need to get an alignment before you can judge anything.

Uneven rear springs can also make the front sit uneven.

if it's a "spring issue" and they align the front end...then when you get the springs straightened out, you will need another alignment...:yup:
I would check that everything is good first...(y)
did you loosen/retighten the A frames when you set the car down when you did the front end work?
...I would remove both springs and verify they are the same rate/height...

check to see if one front control arm sits lower than the other side when drooped. i dont care really about the springs when the front end is off the ground. the question is does the front end sit level on the ground?
you may want to disconnect the sway bar from one side so it doesnt effect the side to side height. if it sits level i would not worry about the springs. if its not level and it corresponds to the loose spring vs tight spring then you know where your problem is.
