Anyone have any luck with cold air intake and filter kits?

    lol.. my buddy replaced his with an aftermarket unit(a Volant, I think?).. and on closer inspection after it came apart.. that piece of crap barely flows enough air for a 200 horse motor. Ruffles aren't the only thing with ridges in them. lol

    The power gain was substantial and quite noticable on the old butt dyno. The induction sound was vastly improved as well.

    Oh, there will be pictures!

    And no ruffles. But somewhere, there has to be a little flex, so I need to work that out. Maybe a couple smooth rubber joints for a little give, but I want the tubing to be smooth as much as possible.

    How high does that sit above the carb? I may have to look into that if I have to go with a carb on the Vette.....
