    Well picked this up last night,body is ok about 80% rust free,has frame conectors,slapper bars,not sure if its a 9in or 8in yet,429 motor c4 trans

    Wow! I'll certainly be watching your progress on this project. I'm a big fan of "big engine - little car" but you got an even bigger engine that I do :cry:

    I assume you know how to tell if it is a 9 or not?

    Interesting car, but I don't like the fact I can see the front coil springs in the engine pictures..... Nothing that can't be fixed I am sure.....

    That was on here recently. I thought it had a good price.. Looks like a Mav bumper that needs to be changed out :rolleyes:

    Not sure how to tell if it's a 9in,I'm going to fix those towers that bothers me alot ,I just want it for a race car so I will be changing some stuff as I go

    A deep socket will not fit on the lowest nut, because the pinion hangs down too low on the 9-inch. If you can get a deep socket on it, it's not a 9-inch.

    That's a neat car. I like the looks of it. That motor is really shoehorned in there! You may need to install some coilovers for a little more clearance before you fix the towers. But I do agree they should be fixed because you probably lost some strength there. I always loved the side stripes on the comet Gt's.
